The proposed development is a (2) block development on a portion of the site of the existing Oregon Square block. Two commercial office buildings are being proposed on Block 90 (SW) and Block 103 (SE). The buildings are (5) stories and (6) stories respectfully totaling 413,000 GSF. The blocks will sit on one level of underground parking serving both buildings.

Early Assistance has been requested by Home Forward for the redevelopment of Dekum Court at 7003 NE 27th Ave:

The project is the phased redevelopment of the Dekum Court affordable housing development. Currently Dekum Court has 40 units of housing on 5.3 acres of land. Phase 1 of the project will be to demolish the existing Head Start building and construct a minimum of 40 new apartment homes. Phase 2 of the project will be to move current residents into the new units, demolish all remaining structures on site and construct up to 160 additional units for a total of 200 units of housing.

A project at NW 24th Pl and Vaughn has been submitted for a Pre-Permit Plan Check:

Alterations to the Galleria at 600 SW 10th Ave have been submitted for a Type 1x Historic Resource Review:

The existing Target retail store that is currently located on the second and third floors of the building will be relocated and consolidated on the first floor of the building with minimal exterior alterations. Those exterior alterations include repurposing of existing blade signage, the addition of new signage, attaching new canvas to existing awnings, and installation of a small LTE antenna (as further described below, the ¿Project¿). Beyond the signage and awnings, the alterations affect less than 500 square feet of exterior façade. Based on the proposed changes, the Bureau of Development Services has confirmed that these Historic Resource Reviews are to be processed with a Type Ix procedure under PCC 33.846.060, Table 846-1 and PCC 33.730.042 (Concurrent Reviews).

A Pre-Application Conference has been scheduled to discuss a project at 1500 NE Sandy Blvd:

This project is a retail development on a contiguous city block. Leasable retail space consists of approximately 16,000 sf total. 12,500 sf of the space is designated for a specialty grocer which includes a covered (WB-67) size truck loading dock, plus (+/-) 3,700 sf space for another retail tenant. There is one (1) level of subterranean parking consisting of (97) parking stalls. The parking plan utilizes the space under the sidewalks out to the edge of the street curb above (at 6 feet below grade). The project is requesting relief from street parking on both sides of NE 16th Ave. or NE Couch Street (depending on which option is used) to allow for truck maneuvering into the loading dock. The project is requesting the removal of the left turn restriction at NE 16th Ave. and NE Sandy Blvd for westbound truck traffic to allow trucks to travel southbound on NE 16th Ave., which will minimize truck circulation through the surrounding neighborhood. The general area has added a significant number of new apartment units and lacks a local grocery store. This development will eliminate a significant number of local automobile trips on NE Sandy Blvd. and NE Couch Street for residents east of the river looking for grocery shopping. The nearest large grocer is over a mile away to the east.

A project at 3334 N Williams Ave has been submitted for a Type II Design Review by Jones Architecture:

Core and shell renovation of a c.1916, 1 story, 5,483 SF building. Scope of work includes seismic upgrades, building services upgrade, and new energy code compliance. Exterior improvements include a new roof and parapets to meet current building code, new infill walls of storefront glazing, overhead sectional doors, tenant entry canopies, new & existing stucco repair, and new exterior lighting fixtures.

The conversion of an existing 51,000sf historic group-living complex into an affordable housing complex. With a new 36,000sf addition and a future, 32,000sf stand alone building to be added to the
site, a total of 128 new affordable housing units will be created. New dry wells and stormwater basins will be added to the site for on-site stormwater filtration.

Cathedral Village at 8614 N Crawford Street has been submitted for a Type II Adjustment Review by MWA Architects:

100-day review timeline. Adjustment requested to 33.130.222, Maximum Building Length, to allow the required 7′ porch to have its roof extend into the required 20′ setback.
