Construction is underway on Slabtown Savier, a two-building development in NW Portland’s emerging Slabtown neighborhood. The development, designed by SERA Architects for developer Greystar, will include two buildings with 363 market rate apartments. Vehicular parking will be provided via a combination of tuck-under and below grade parking. 399 long term bicycle parking spaces will be provided, split between in-unit spaces and spaces in secured bike rooms.

The residential levels will offer exterior balconies for each unit, and will also include a variety of amenities such as lounges, workspaces and fitness centers. The project is a 6 story building comprised of: ground floor retail with five floors of wood framed multi-family housing, and 2 levels of below grade parking. Inclusive of the below grade parking, total gsf for the building is approximately 225,000 gross square feet. The ground floor retail is proposed as 16,139 leasable space including a grocer with back of house loading space, residential loading and trash, a residential lobby, and a vehicular access ramp to the below grade parking garage. The below grade parking has one level of parking dedicated for grocer use on P1 and one level of parking dedicated for residential use on P2. Total parking count is 181 total stalls. The five floors of housing consist of 130 housing units. Stormwater is anticipated to be treated via a rooftop eco-roof.

A Pre-Application Conference has been scheduled by Lever Architecture to discuss the renovation of the Artists Repertory Theater at 1515 SW Morrison St:
Renovation of the existing 18,000sf Artist Repertory Theater (ART) building. The renovation will add new theater, rehearsal, office and support space for ART and a dozen affiliated companies in the ART HUB. The expansion will add a partial second floor and increase the total area to approximately 28,000sf. The existing concrete exterior walls and the east and west bays of existing structure will remain. The central portion of the building will be rebuilt with a higher structure to accommodate a large theater and second floor. The existing covered drive will be infilled with a new main entry and lobby space. The two levels of parking below the main floor will remain. Parking Level 1 will be accessed from an entry in the building along SW 15th Avenue. Parking Level 2 will be accessed from a new entry in the future ART Tower. The building will undergo a full seismic upgrade. Given the existing conditions, the project has limited stormwater options. The project team will review with BES
