Construction is underway on a mixed use tower at NW 14th & Glisan. The 16 story, 174′ tall building by Ankrom Moisan Architects for developer Holland Partner Group will include 230 residential units and 6,359 sq ft of ground level retail. A property tax exemption approved by the City Council in 2016 will allow for 20% of the units in the building to be affordable to households earning no more than 80 percent of median family income. 4 levels of below-grade parking will provide room for 206 vehicles and 362 bicycles.

New Omni Tower Goes Before Landmarks Commission (images)

The Historic Landmarks Commission has offered Design Advice on the New Omni Building, a proposed mixed tower in Old Town / Chinatown. The 15 story building by Ankrom Moisan Architects for Palindrome Communities would include 138 residential units, over ground floor retail and below grade parking. The project would be required to comply with the city’s inclusionary housing policies, with affordable housing units provided on-site or nearby, or a fee in lieu paid.

The Design Commission has approved a project by Ankrom Moisan Architects at 1638 W Burnside St. The 7 to 8 story tall building for Atlanta-based developer Wood Partners will include 138 residential units, 83 below-grade parking spaces and 209 long term bicycle parking spaces. 5,924 sq ft of ground floor commercial space is planned, with retail spaces facing W Burnside at Level 1 and SW Alder St and Level 2.
