A proposed addition to east end of the Lloyd Center has returned in front of the Design Commission for a second Design Advice hearing. The project is being designed by LDA Design Group of Burbank, California, with landscape architects 505 Design. The project will include the renovation and remodel of the lower two floors of the east anchor building currently occupied by Sears, for multi-tenant retail / office. At the third level the building will include a new 14 screen theater.

The Oregonian wrote about the $5 million gift given to Portland State University, which will enable the Neuberger Hall Renovation to move forward.
Portland State University will receive $51 million in state bonds, writes the Portland Business Journal. The money will enable the Jasmine Block development at SW 4th & Montgomery to move forward.

Fremont Place Tower receives Design Advice (images)
Design Advice has been offered to TVA Architects for Fremont Place, a 17 story tower planned for a site immediately northwest of Centennial Mills. The building, being developed by the Lincoln Property Company, would rise to a height of 184’-6” and include 270 residential units. Parking is proposed in one or two levels of below grade parking. Ground level retail is proposed facing Naito Parkway, with the possibility (not yet shown in the drawings) of retail facing the Willamette Greenway.
