Every week, the Bureau of Development Services publishes lists of Early Assistance applications, Land Use Reviews and Building Permits. We publish the highlights.
ZGF Architects have scheduled a Pre-Application Conference to discuss the Multnomah County Health Department Headquarters:
Proposal for nine story headquarters building for the Multnomah County Health Department.
A building permit is under review for a project at 6846 N Greenwich Ave:
New construction of three story, 23unit apartment complex; no onsite parking
I understand that there is a heritage Redwood tree on that sight. If it’s a heritage treee, then I urge you to not approve the plan. The builder could do an L-shape design, and use the Redwoode as a selling point. On Greenwich Avenue, trees are being cut down at an alarming rate. I understand that a builder is required to plant seven trees for every tree they cut down, but we all know that it takes decades for a tree to reach a size were it supplies shade, as well as bird habitat.
