At 21 stories, the Aster Tower will be the tallest building at Hassalo on Eighth, the massive mixed use development by American Assets Trust, GBD Architects and Place Studio landscape architects. The Aster Tower will include 337 rental units, including studios, one, two and three bedroom apartments, penthouses and walk-up style townhomes. At the ground level the project will include 11,582 sq ft of retail space.

The primary materials of the tower are a smooth limestone colored brick in a stacked bond pattern, light and dark bronze metal panel, and precast concrete. All the windows are aluminum.
The 21st floor of the Aster Tower will be an amenity level, which will include a fitness room, a hot tub, a kitchen / dining room, a lounge / game room, an amenity room, and a rooftop deck with BBQs.
The Aster Tower will be the final building to open at Hassalo on Eighth. It is currently leasing at www.hassalooneighth.com for October 2015 move ins.
